Hugh Jackman toasts to his good health with double martinis as he celebrates negative results from two biopsies

Hugh Jackman has toasted to his good health with not one but two martinis, days after announcing he was skin cancer-free following two biopsies.

The Australian actor, 54, took to Instagram on Easter Sunday to document his celebrations, sharing a video of himself jovially sipping a martini at a restaurant.

As he lifted the glass to his mouth, the Wolverine star said ‘number two down’ and held up two fingers with a broad smile.

Hugh, who is on a strict diet while shaping up to portray Wolverine in Deadpool 3, simply captioned the post: ‘A rare occasion’.

It comes days after Hugh shared a positive update on his recent skin cancer scare.

The Hollywood star revealed on Tuesday he had undergone two biopsies after his doctor noticed ‘little things’ that could potentially be Basal Cell Carcinoma – the most common form of skin cancer.

The Wolverine star confirmed in an Instagram Story that thee biopsies had returned with a negative result.

‘My biopsies came back negative!!! Thank you ALL for the love. I feel it!’ he enthused.

The Golden Globe winner also thanked fans and media for spreading awareness.

He reminded fans to be sun safe and ‘wear sunscreen with a high SPF’ regardless of the season.

Hugh had earlier in the week shared a video of himself with a bandage over his nose, presumably where the biopsies were taken.
