Just like dad! Bindi Irwin stuns her fans with a shock stunt at Australia Zoo

Bindi Irwin got up close and personal with pack of dingoes at Australia Zoo on Thursday.

The wildlife warrior, 24, shared several photos and a video to her Instagram account alongside husband Chandler Powell, 26, of the pair feeding and petting the wild dogs.

In one photo, she even appeared to plant a kiss on one of the dingo’s nose.

‘Dingo smiles to brighten your day. Love from Australia Zoo,’ she captioned the video.

Fans were shocked to see the dingoes, which have the potential to be dangerous to humans, being friendly to the married couple.

‘Wow I didn’t know they would be so friendly,’ one user commented.

‘These animal are very friendly !! Very cool,’ another added.

‘They are lovely Bindi, you guys do a wonderful job with all your animals, I’m so glad they have you guys to help and keep them healthy, I’m very proud of you guys,’ said another.

Dingoes generally don’t attack people, but are more likely to get aggressive if they sense fear or are provoked, according to the Queensland government website.

It appears the pack at Australia Zoo have been trained by professional handlers.

Bindi’s wholesome moment comes after heartbreak when she announced the news that her family had suffered a devastating loss – Rhino their Rhinoceros iguana tragically died at the age of 42.

Bindi posted a heartbreaking memorial video to Instagram in which she broke down crying as she spoke about the lizard she grew up with in Australia Zoo.

Mourning with her brother Robert, mother Terri and husband Chandler Powell, the Wildlife Warrior spread Rhino’s ashes throughout the zoo’s Rhinoceros enclosure.

‘It is with a very heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to Rhino, but we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to be able to share him one last time with you guys,’ Bindi said as she held her beloved reptile’s box of ashes. 

As the famous conservationist got teary eyed, her brother, 19, stepped in to share a glimpse into the animal’s life.

He revealed that Rhino, who was born in 1980 and received a Guinness World Record for being the oldest Rhinoceros iguana on record, loved Hibiscus flowers and was always full of energy and ‘sass’.

‘His quality of life was 100% every day. He lived a brilliant life every single day and that’s what you hold onto,’ Robert added.

Terri, 58, revealed the iguana first came to Australia Zoo in 1993, the year after she married the late national icon Steve Irwin.

The video finished with some tear-jerking footage of Steve Irwin in happier times gushing over Rhino as he introduce the lizard to the world.
