Kyle Sandilands reveals the crazy amount of money he was offered to appear on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and why he turned it down
Kyle Sandilands has revealed he was offered a whopping $1million to appear on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Our of Here! – but he turned money down.
The shock jock said he knocked back the deal after the show would not match the cash Shane Warne received when the late cricket great appeared on the hit reality series back in 2016.
‘I told them Warnie got $2million, so forget about it,’ he said during The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Wednesday.
The 51-year-old radio star added the show’s producers were even going to allow him to smoke – as long as it was off-screen – just like they did when Warne starred on the show.
Kyle’s remarks came during a live on-air chat with radio star Woody Whitelaw, 35, who has officially joined the cast this season.

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson asked Woody, who co-hosts KIIS FM’s Will & Woody show, how much he was getting paid to appear on the reality series, which is being filmed next month in South Africa.
‘She loves the money, this one,’ Kyle interrupted, before Woody could answer.
Jackie pressed on after Woody sounded reluctant to answer, suggesting the money on offer was ‘between $80,000 and 150,000’.
After Woody agreed that it was, Kyle boasted about his million dollar plus ‘smoking’ offer for the series.
‘P**s-off!’ a shocked Woody exclaimed. ‘You got the Warney deal!’
Elsewhere in the chat, Woody said he had heard rumours that showbiz journalist Angela Bishop and boxer Harry Garside will be joining him in the jungle for the real-life adventure series.
