Lea Michele‘s latest TikTok whisked her away from the backstage of her hit Broadway show to a tropical paradise.

The Glee alum, 36 – who recently attended the star-studded Michael Kors show during New York Fashion Week – posted a TikTok on Tuesday that began with some BTS footage from Funny Girl.

Lip-syncing to a TikTok version of Sure Thing by Miguel, Lea looked into the camera with a full face of Funny Girl makeup and tapped the screen – transporting her to a beautiful beach.

With crystal blue water behind her, the actress showed off her incredible body as she rocked a black bikini, tortoise shades and a sun-kissed glow.

‘Vacation mode ON!’ wrote Michele in the caption. ‘See you back at @funnygirlbrwyofficial in a week!’

Michelle’s makeup-free face soaked up the sunshine as she recorded herself standing in the sand, twirling her wet raven locks.

The multi-hyphenate star’s flat stomach was on full display and she accented her black bikini with a gold necklace and diamond earrings.

Michelle’s vacation is well-deserved, as she is widely credited with saving the revival of Funny Girl from bombing on Broadway.

The Brunette Ambition author took over the classic play’s leading part of Fanny Brice in July of last year after Beanie Feldstein vacated the role.

Feldstein’s performance received mediocre reviews, with particular attention being paid to her lackluster singing voice.

After Beanie abruptly left the production, Lea was immediately brought in to rescue the play, since the role of Fanny Brice was near and dear to her heart as a performer.

The Bronx native got her start as a child actress on Broadway, and she has long campaigned to play Fanny Brice – a fixation that was written into Glee, as her character Rachel Berry was also obsessed with the part.

Funny Girl broke the all-time Broadway box office record for the highest grossing tickets sales in one week.

In December, the show made $2 million in one week of eight performances, largely due to Michelle’s acclaimed turn as Fanny Brice.

Lea’s performance has been hailed as a ‘tour de force’ and ‘spectacular,’ with many critics declaring that her star has been ‘reborn’ in the wake of her alleged bad behavior during Glee’s six-season run.

Reviewing the play for Variety, Frank Rizzo declared, ‘Michelle gives [Funny Girl] what the revival previously lacked: charism, astonishing vocals and assuredness…’

‘To put it plainly,’ wrote Jessica Derschowitz for Entertainment Weekly, ‘she is simply spectacular.’

In an interview with People, the Broadway sensation described the moment she found out that she had finally won the role of her dreams.

‘Funny story: I got the call from my agents that I got the part. I had no idea. I was literally sitting out at Bubby’s with my child [three-year-old son Ever], feeding him buttered pasta and broccoli.

‘And I get a call from my agents, and they said, “You are going to be Fanny Brice in Funny Girl.” ‘

Lea described becoming emotional upon learning that she had earned the role of a lifetime, saying: ‘As I looked up, I start hysterically crying, and I’m like, oh my God.’

Lea was joined by her former Spring Awakens costar Gideon Glick when she got her happy news.

‘[Gideon] saw me crying. People had been asking me [about the role], but I didn’t really know what was going to happen.

‘He was like, “Oh my God, did you just get the part?” And I was nodding. And so he took a picture of me on the street hysterically crying, getting the part of Fanny Brice.’

She added: ‘Gideon used to be my old roommate. And he was actually there with me when I got the call that I would be in Les Miz as well. So it was just a very full-circle moment for me.’

Although her performance seemed to be a hit with audiences as the musical hit the half-way mark, she also had to contend with viewers allegedly laughing at a line about reading books after online trolls claimed that she can’t read.

Fans at the performance tweeted out about the positive response early on in the evening.

‘Lea Michele has gotten four standing ovations at Funny Girl so far, and it’s only intermission,’ one fan wrote. ‘I’ve stood for all four of them. The Gleek jumped OUT.’
