MAFS brides turn on love rat Harrison Boon as he tries to explain his ‘secret girlfriend’ scandal at the first dinner party

Bronte Schofield and Harrison Boon had a painfully awkward wedding after her friend spilled the beans on his ‘secret girlfriend’ waiting for him outside the show.

And in an explosive trailer for the first dinner party of the season, outspoken bride Melinda Willis turns on Harrison as he tries to explain away the love triangle.

In the sneak peek, Melinda warns Bronte to ‘run’ after she was left unconvinced by her husband’s attempt to tell his side of the story to the other couples.

‘The girl who I was seeing, who knew I was doing this, sent a message,’ he said.

Melinda told producers: ‘I’m not buying Harrison’s story. I do have advice for Bronte and it’s run fast.’

It comes after Harrison’s fairytale wedding to Bronte turned into a nightmare during last week’s MAFS premiere after a guest revealed a shocking secret at the reception.

The season premiere saw Bronte’s BFF Jessica Tomlinson pull her aside to let her know Harrison had been dating her friend just days before his TV wedding.

Jessica showed evidence in the form of photos, WhatsApp screenshots and even a picture of an open suitcase, which she said was Harrison’s bag he was packing the day before leaving to film MAFS.

A shocked Bronte replied: ‘You’re lying. If that’s true, that’s my worst nightmare.’

Horrified by the revelation, Bronte stormed back into the wedding and confronted her on-screen husband.

The following day, the newlyweds shared a frosty confrontation in the living room of their hotel suite after spending their first night as husband and wife sleeping in separate beds.

Harrison, who had popped out early to grab take-away coffees as a peace offering, looked apologetic as he tried to win back his wife’s affections.

Married At First Sight continues Monday 7.30pm on Channel Nine
