He is rumoured to have slept with 4,000 women and has had eight children with five partners.

And Mick Jagger opted for an eye-catching ‘DILF’ hat for his day at the football with his sons on Sunday.

The Rolling Stones legend, 79, travelled to Fulham’s Craven Cottage to see them compete against his beloved Arsenal.

But instead of opting for some Gunners merch, Mick chose to wear the quirky hat.

The term DILF stems from MILF (mother I’d like to f**k), which was widely popularised in the 90s film American Pie.

Jennifer Coolidge, who played the infamous role of Stiffler’s Mom, was handed the first use by her teen son’s classmate, much to his horror.

Now Mick – who has eight biological children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren – has clearly adopted the term for his own use.

Settling in to watch the game, he could be seen alongside his youngest son Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger, 6, and Lucas, 22.

He wrapped up in a black coat and wrapped a green jumper around his neck.

Selling on the Dad Brand apparel website, the hat can be seen up for grabs for $30.

Mick’s appearance comes after he and Diane von Furstenberg sent fans wild as they reunited for a sweet selfie last week.

The septuagenarians cosied up for a picture as Diane, 76, gushed over their decades-long friendship.

Clad in a bright pink scarf and donning gold earrings, Diane rested her head on Mick’s, 79, as she penned: ‘Two old friends many decades later … still kicking and most important GRATEFUL !’

Their famous friends were quick to comment on the shot, with Lily Alridge penning ‘icons’, while Naomi Campbell posted three hearts.

Fellow fashion designer Daphne Guinness revealed she’d also been in attendance, writing: ‘This was such a fantastic evening, thank you Diane for everything❤️❤️❤️I love you!’, while Mick’s daughter Jade Jagger was clearly upset about missing out on the fun as she penned: ‘Where are u guys.’

Mick and Diane were regulars on the party scene in the Seventies, spending many nights at the legendary Studio 54.

The pair mixed in the same circles, with Diane, known for inventing the wrap dress, commanded the fashion scene, while Mick and The Rolling Stones were legendary in the music business.

While their partying ways may have slowed down somewhat in recent years they’ll  no doubt be dusting off their party hats and shoes when Sir Mick turns 80 in July.

His family are planning a ‘massive blow-out’ to celebrate the Jumpin’ Jack Flash singer’s 80th birthday on July 26 but they will need a large venue to include all his children and former flames.

The singer is rumoured to have slept with 4,000 women and has had eight children with five partners, so you might be forgiven for assuming there could be tension in Mick’s complicated private life.

However, the The Mail on Sunday revealed that, far from there being any behind-the-scenes acrimony, the many ex-wives, girlfriends and children of the Rolling Stone frontman are so close, they even share a family WhatsApp group.

Earlier in the month, Mick’s first wife Bianca, 77, was on hand to support 31-year-old model Georgia May – daughter of second wife Jerry Hall – as she walked the runway during London Fashion Week.

A close friend of the Jagger clan told The Mail on Sunday: ‘They all consider themselves one family. The kids call themselves brother and sister, there is no talk of step-sisters or half-siblings. They truly support each other and they show up.’

They continued: ‘The remarkable thing is that the women in Mick’s life have made this happen.

‘Whatever pain he put them through, they have all been determined to stick together to raise happy, balanced children. When you meet the Jagger kids, they are all successful, well-behaved and grounded.’

Every Christmas, the Jagger clan gathers at Mick’s sprawling home on the paradise Caribbean island of Mustique.

‘It’s huge and there is enough room for everyone,’ the friend said. ‘They go every Christmas, but try to get a summer holiday together, too.’

They added: ‘Mick will always be Mick, and the women in his life accepted that a long time ago.

‘It’s ironic that he sings about getting no satisfaction – but when you see him backstage after a concert and there are kids running around and ex-wives having a great time, you realise he’s a real family man.

‘Everyone is treated equally, and that’s the key. He’s always chosen strong women and it’s a tribute to them that they have created such a happy, blended unit.’
