Martha Kalifatidis has headed to hospital after what she thought was a blocked milk duct turned out to be an abscess in her breast.
The former Married At First Sight star, 34, who recently welcomed her first child, shared a series of health updates to Instagram Stories on Saturday night.
The first photo showed the tired new mother attempting to pump some breast milk, which she captioned, ‘In case ya wondering’.
The next image depicted Martha laying in a hospital bed with her son nestled on her chest.
The influencer captioned that photo: ‘Turns out it’s not a blocked milk duct it’s an abscess’.

The final image showed her glum lookin fiancé Michael Brunelli sitting in her hospital room.
‘Thanks for trying to suck out my breast abscess! You’re one of a kind’ Martha said of Michael in the caption.
A breast abscess is a a painful build-up of pus inside the breast tissue, which usually stems from an infection.
It comes after Martha left fans speechless when she shared footage of Michael helping unclog what she thought were blocked milk ducts.

In the video posted to Instagram Thursday evening, Michael, 34, is seen sucking one of Martha’s breasts, after one of her glands was not properly drained after feeding their newborn son Lucius.
‘You have got to suck harder than that. The baby sucks harder than that. It’s not one constant, it has to be, like, sucking,’ demands Martha in the clip.
‘How do I suck it harder than that? I got no strength in my suck [in this position],’ Michael is heard snapping back, while lying on the floor of their lounge room holding a coffee mug.
‘Omg I can feel it empty,’ Martha responds in relief, in between fits of giggles.

‘You’ve got to breathe through your nose. It’s like giving a b***job, you’ve really got to focus on the breathing more than any part of it,’ she explained to her doting partner.
Moments later, she told Michael: ‘Babe I think we’ve done it.’
Many fans were left shocked after watching the video, with one writing: ‘I think you’ve reached a new level of oversharing.’
‘Omg whattt, my husband wouldn’t even try my breast milk from a glass,’ quipped another, before a third kept their comment short and sweet.
‘OMGGGGGG,’ they wrote.

However, some fans praised the couple on posting a candid video.
‘You’ve reached a whole new level of relationship goals right here,’ they commented.
Another wrote: ‘Omg! Now that’s a real man! There is no way my husband would of done that.’

Michael and Martha announced the birth of their son Lucius on February 27.
‘Lucius Brunelli. He’s here, he’s perfect,’ Martha wrote alongside an image of the newborn wrapped in a baby blanket.
In the comments below the post, Michael, 32, clarified how to pronounce the child’s name, writing, ”LOO-SHUS’, if you’re wondering’.
