People are just realising Jeremy Clarkson makes cameo in iconic Disney movie
- The ex-Top Gear host voiced the popular character Harv from Cars

Fans of the much-loved 2006 film, Cars, have been left stunned to find out Jeremy Clarkson has made an appearance.
Jeremy Clarkson is known for many things, but voicing the character of Harv from one of Disney Pixar‘s most iconic films is one achievement that has gone under the radar.
Harv, the no-nonsense agent who worked for Lightning McQueen before being replaced, made his first appearance in the initial film.
He also stars in the PlayStation 2 game, Cars: Race-O-Rama.
The character is famed for being strict, often telling off his clients if they aren’t strictly focusing on racing.
Never seen on screen, McQueen talks to Harv via his speakerphone on the way to a decision making race.
The only moments fans get to hear Harv are via McQueen’s speakerphone (pictured above), he is never seen in the film
Fans were shocked to find out that the ex-Top Gear host was the voice of Lightning McQueen’s boss Harv
We don’t know all too much about the character except that he was going to give Mack – McQueen’s transporter – the boot if he did not get the star racer into his trailer.
Fans shared their thoughts, shocked to find out the famous face behind the beloved character.
One user said: ‘How old where you when you found out the boss of lightning McQueen (Harv) in the film cars was voiced by Jeremy Clarkson’
Another fan added: ‘Is Jeremy Clarkson Harv in cars? Wow! I never noticed that.’
But, some viewers were left unhappy when they thought Harv’s familiar voice had been changed.
One viewer commented: ‘Anyone else notice the voice of Harv in @Disney Cars has changed?! It’s no longer @Jeremy Clarkson!
While another shared: ‘I was today years old when I realised Disney Pixar removed Jeremy Clarkson from the voice of ‘Harv’ from Cars. Day ruined.’
Viewers were saddened on Twitter when they thought Mr Clarkson’s voiceover of the character had been replaced, but he quickly rectified the misinformation
The stern agent also said he would sack Mack – Lightning McQueen’s (pictured) transporter – if he didn’t get the star in his trailer
But fear not, Mr Clarkson hasn’t been replaced as Harv.
It turns out the UK and US versions of the film have different voice actors for the character, with Clarkson’s US counterpart being Jeremy Piven.
But British fans of the film were left unhappy to find out that the Disney+ version does not feature the Harv voice they know and love.
One said: ‘Jeremy Clarkson will forever be a better voice of Harv than Jeremy Piven in cars.’
While another chimed in: ‘WT* Disney+ doesn’t have Jeremy Clarkson as Harv but the American version guy, I’m livid.’
Another quipped: ‘I’m sorry but the fact that Jeremy Clarkson isn’t the default voice for Harv in Cars on Disney Plus is a travesty.’
