Sex/Life star Sarah Shahi has revealed that series two will feature even more raunchy sex scenes that the first series.
The actress, 42, – who plays Billie Connelly in the hit drama – joked in a new interview with The Times that she asked for some ‘really nice lighting’ as she shot intimate takes.
In the chat she also opened up about falling in love with her co-star Adam Demos on set of series one a well as her divorce from Shameless actor husband Steve Howey.
She said of the racy new Netflix series: ‘It is a lot and I feel like we might even have more sex scenes in the second season.
‘It’s scary, you’re vulnerable. I just prayed a lot and asked for some really nice lighting.’

She turned to weight resistance training with a personal trainer plus running and a strict diet of chicken, fish and vegetables to get in shape for the series.
Sarah also gushed about her relationship with Adam and when they first met ahead of the first series.
She said: ‘I think it was February and I was wearing an old, ratty Christmas sweater. I felt like, oh, this is the person I’ve been searching for my whole life.’
Adam has now become a step father to her three children William Wolf, 13, and twins Violet Moon and Knox Blue, 7, – who she shares with ex Steve.
She recently told NewBeauty magazine about what it’s really like to work with her significant other.
Sarah said: ‘I would much rather work with him than not – our schedule is so grueling that we would never see each other otherwise.
‘To be able to at least be in his space when we’re on-set… that’s better than not having it – what we do, it’s so strange to the outside world, which I get.
‘To be able to have someone that’s on the inside that you can commiserate with or that you can vent to, it’s pretty helpful.’

Announcing her divorce in May 2020 her and Steve said in a statement: ‘After much thought and consideration, we have decided to end our marriage,’ a statement from the pair read. ‘We are so grateful for the past 10 years together and proud of our children that we’ve raised.
‘As we enter into this new phase of our lives, our priority will remain co-parenting our children with so much love, mutual respect and friendship. And though our relationship is changing, we are committed to continuing our lives as a loving family.’
In her filing, Shahi listed April 14 as their official date of separation, and cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason behind the split, according to Us Weekly.
Howey, 42, and Shahi tied the knot in Las Vegas in February 2009 following a two-year-long engagement.
Five months after saying ‘I do’, the couple welcomed son William, followed by twins Violet and Knox in 2015.
Filming for the first season began in August 2020 – when Sarah met co-star Adam.
And in June 2021, the Aussie actor, 36, confirmed the sexual chemistry between him and the show’s leading lady Sarah Shahi was not just acting – as the duo actually fell in love in real life while filming in Toronto.
The 35-year-old confirmed his relationship to The Daily Telegraph, coyly admitting: ‘What I will say and I am always happy to say, is that I am a lucky man and it is happy days.’
Sarah also opened up about their romance in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she said: ‘It was great casting, I’ll put it that way.

Sex/Life is a based on BB Easton’s novel, 44 Chapters About 4 Men.
The plot is based around suburban mother-of-two Billie (Sarah) who is involved in a love triangle with her husband Cooper (Mike Vogel) and an old flame from her past, Brad (Adam).
