Shane Warne’s ex-wife Simone Callahan says she’s still grieving the death of the legendary cricketer: ‘It’s something that can’t be fixed’
Simone Callahan revealed on Thursday that she still grieves the ‘huge void’ her ex-husband Shane Warne left when he tragically died last year aged 52.
The yoga and wellness guru, 53, lost the father of her three children to a heart attack on March 4, 2022 while the legendary cricketer was on holiday in Thailand.
Speaking to the House of Wellness magazine, she confessed that she still struggles to deal with her former partner’s absence.
‘Nothing remains the same when we lose a loved one, as so many people would relate. My kids lost their dad and I lost the father of my kids,’ she said.
‘It’s a hard feeling to put into words, but it’s always there with you. It’s something you never think will happen and it’s something that can’t be fixed.’

She continued: ‘There’s a heaviness, just the whole process of living life without Shane in it. But what the kids and I shared with him we’ll always have.’
Shane and Simone tied the knot in 1999 and were married for six years before divorcing in 2005.
They shared three children – Brooke, 26, Jackson, 24, and Summer, 22.
Shane died from a heart attack on March 4 while on holiday in Koh Samui, Thailand.

Thai police said he was staying in the villa with four friends, and when one of the group tried to wake Shane for food at around 5pm local time he was found to be unresponsive.
Shane’s manager separately confirmed his death, saying the father-of-three could not be revived.
He is considered one of the finest cricketers in history after claiming 708 Test wickets at 25.41 in 145 matches between 1992 and 2007.
