After three years of Covid-related delays, the California rapper finally brought his I Wanna Thank Me Tour to Australia – his first time performing Down Under since he headlined the Big Day Out festival in 2014.
His delightfully tacky stage show included several risqué pole dancers, water pistols, and cash canons that shot out dollar bills.
Snoop, who is known for his love of cannabis, opened his set at 9.30pm with a video of himself smoking a joint at his hotel and asking the crowd what he should wear.
The 12,000-strong crowd at RAC Arena was ecstatic to see Snoop finally perform songs from his seventeenth album, which was released pre-Covid in 2019 along with a documentary of the same name.

Fans held onto their tickets from 2020 when the gig was originally cancelled due to the pandemic, and on the night the rapper thanked attendees for being so patient.
The 51-year-old kept things casual on stage in a blue-paisley patterned jumpsuit with Converse sneakers.
Of course, he wore his signature chunky gold chain and used a gold bedazzled microphone as four pole dancers in lingerie swung around him.

Despite the sexual nature of the stage show, Snoop also got sentimental as he sang his songs Ashtrays and Heartbreaks while a montage of photos of his friends and family was displayed on the screen behind him.
The legendary rapper is now due to fly to Sydney for two shows on Wednesday and Thursday at Qudos Bank Arena.
He will then perform back-to-back concerts at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena before heading to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and wrapping up his tour in Adelaide on March 8.
