The Block fan favourite Tom Calleja was left heartbroken last year when he and his wife Sarah-Jane’s hard renovation only made them a $20,000 profit on auction day.
But the hard-working plumber, 34, clearly has no hard feelings as he is now starring on the new season of the show as a tradie.
Calleja looked exhausted after a hard day’s work on the renovation site in Charming St, Hampton East, Melbourne, last week.
On-site he wore a short sleeve high-vis orange shirt paired with a colourful patterned long sleeve shirt underneath.
The Melbourne native completed his outfit with tan shorts and brown work boots.

He carried a matching high-vis tool bag and looked as fit as a fiddle as he lugged some equipment across the worksite.
His head was shaved and he had sunglasses resting on his forehead as he scoped out the worksite and chatted to staff.
Tom and Sarah-Jane were one of the more popular couples featured on The Block, with the pair known for their rousing arguments and gritty work ethic.

During last year’s finale, their property had a reserve price of $4.08 million and sold for $4.1 million, meaning they walked away with just $20,000 for their efforts.
The couple posted to Instagram to tell their fans the disappointing result meant they sold their Ford Ute.
‘Honestly Ford Australia saved us financially and we are so grateful they gave such a generous prize to the show that we were then able to win!’

Sarah explained: ‘Our plan was to always keep it but we needed to reimburse our lost money from going on the show.’
Despite other couples walking away with huge amounts of cash, Tom and Sarah-Jane spent money from their savings to break even on the show.
Sarah-Jane claimed Tom lost $40,000 by not working for three months, while she lost approximately $20,000.
