A group of about 50 protesters surrounded police who were trying to participate in the march on February 4 this year.

Several items were allegedly thrown at officers.

Victoria Police said many of the officers marching were “proudly part of the LGBTQIA+ community”.

On April 24, police searched a unit in Brunswick West and arrested two men, aged 28 and 29.

They were interviewed and released pending further enquiries.

Police have now released images of four people they believe can assist with the investigation.
