A man has been found dead at an east Melbourne property following reports of an argument over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to a home on Belgrave-Gembrook Road in Belgrave about 4.30pm on Sunday following reports of two men arguing.

One of the men, who has not yet been formally identified, died at the scene.

A 30-year-old Belgrave man was interviewed by Victoria Police but has since been released pending further enquiries.

A crime scene was established at the home and police are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death. 

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
