Three men have been arrested after evading police in an allegedly stolen vehicle in Melbourne’s south-east overnight.

Police began investigating after a motorbike was spotted travelling at speeds of up to 200km/h on the Monash Freeway in Dandenong about 1.30am.

The motorbike was seen driving into a nearby shopping centre, before a group of men carried it into what’s believed to be a stolen white van, according to police.

Police believe the van was stolen. (Nine)

The driver of the van continued before police deployed stop sticks along Corrigan Road in Noble Park.

Police allege the driver and his two passengers dumped the van before attempting to flee the scene on foot.

The trio were arrested a short time later along Simpson Street, thanks to the assistance of the K9 unit.

Police also seized drugs, cash, ammunition, stolen ID’s and other stolen property.

A 28-year-old Springvale man, a 24-year-old Noble Park man and a 27-year-old Narre Warren man are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
