Hawkesbury daycare minibus carrying six young children FLIPS after horror smash

  • A childcare centre bus has crashed in NSW 

A daycare centre minibus carrying six children has crashed in the Hawkesbury region of NSW.

The bus was flipped onto its side at the intersection of Windsor and West Market Street in Richmond, about 30 minutes north of Penrith, about 3.30pm on Friday.

It is understood no children were seriously injured in the crash.

Pictures from the scene show the minibus with significant damage to passenger side door from a collision.

Multiple police, paramedic and fire crews rushed to scene and a cleanup is underway. 

One witness told radio station 2GB the young children were shaken but appeared alright and that traffic was only disrupted around the immediate area.
