They’re at it again: Just Stop Oil fanatics stage ANOTHER protest in London sparking chaos on roads during rush hour as police stand by… while in Germany cops arrest eco-zealots
Just Stop Oil have staged another protest this morning, causing travel chaos for commuters as police attend the scene on the famous Strand in London.
At around 8.30am this morning the eco-protesters confirmed on social media that a ‘team’ of 15 activists were disrupting traffic on the Strand in central London – and said it had other teams in place ready to join in the action.
Police officers were quick to arrive at the scene but did not appear to take immediate action.
They have come under fire from frustrated Britons in recent months after Just Stop Oil have repeatedly caused massive disruption on motorways, roundabouts and major city routes.
This is in contrast to police responses in other European countries, with German activists recently being pictured as they were dragged off streets by police.

In a recent protest in Germany, one man who had glued himself down to a road surface was removed by police using a drill – which separated a piece of tarmac from the main surface.
Specialist officers then focused on ungluing his hand while motorists could get their journeys back underway.

In a tweet, a spokesperson said: ‘Just 15 ordinary people, supported by trained march facilitators, are acting in resistance against this criminal government and their attempt to license 100 new fossil fuel projects.
‘Other teams are preparing to join.’
They later added a second team had taken the eastbound carriageway on the Strand too, bringing the entire road to a halt.
Posting a picture of activists standing in front of a black Ferrari, the group said: ‘Driver of £300,000 Ferrari realises they should have got the tube and saved £299,996.’
The protesters held signs and wore high-vis jackets as they stood in the centre of the tarmac.
Yesterday police seemed to strengthen action against the eco zealots blocking traffic amid a warning by a Met boss that unclear laws were hindering efforts to keep the roads open.
Just Stop Oil (JSO) activists were threatened with arrest on Wednesday after conditions allowed officers to break up the group’s third day of ‘slow marches’ in London.
Earlier in the week, officers were forced to stand by and even protect the activists from furious commuters.
