Nevertheless, the band kept posting short clips on their social media channels to remind them of Chester. But now came the hammer – Linkin Park will release a new song.
A video was shared on the band’s Instagram announcing that they are about to release a new song titled “Lost”. In the clip, a man wearing a gas mask approaches the camera and sprays it with black paint. Then the words “New Linkin Park Music” appear. And the best thing about the information – the fans don’t have to wait much longer. The song should be available this Friday. It will also feature Chester’s voice, as the track appears to be from the Meteora album archive. The release also celebrates the 20th birthday of this album.
The band has already teased the release of the new song in the past few days. They kept sharing short clips with cryptic clues that secretly gave fans hope for something new from the nu-metal band.
