One Premier League star has now been recognised for his efforts this season with a place in the statistical team of the season so far.
WhoScored’s squad consists of players based on their average rating for the season, and a player Chelsea have been linked with signing has been selected as a member of the defence.
Injuries have really played a part on the left-back role in particular this season for Chelsea, with Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella both suffering injury issues.
For that reason, it has been reported that the Blues are keen on adding a new player to that position when the transfer window opens again.
One of those who has been strongest linked in recent weeks is from just down the road in West London in Fulham star Antonee Robinson.

It has been claimed that they are interested in signing the American to bolster that side of their defence.
Previous reports have stated that they could be forced to pay a fee of around £35m to bring him in, off the back of what has been a strong season so far in the Premier League.

He was the highest rated left-back according to WhoScored, joining the likes of Phil Foden, Bukayo Saka and Erling Haaland as those recognised in the team of the season so far.
If the Blues are looking at addressing the left-back role this summer, another player they are reportedly keen to look at is Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies.
The Canadian international is yet to sign a new deal with Bayern Munich, and is seen as somewhat of a dream signing as far as Chelsea are concerned.
They will be well aware though that they are competing against the likes of Real Madrid for his signature.
