Chelsea fans will be out in their numbers at Stamford Bridge tonight to show their support for one player in particular.
However, insider Graeme Bailey has exclusively revealed to The Chelsea Chronicle that Conor Gallagher’s future at the club is now looking very bleak.
It has been the story of the season at Stamford Bridge so far, with many wondering how the club can be willing to part ways with a player who has been so crucial thisch season.
Mauricio Pochettino has not made it a secret just how much he has relied on the England international, and he is set to play a big role in the final few games of the season in the absence of Enzo Fernandez.
Chelsea supporters are going to show their appreciation tonight of Gallagher by unveiling a new banner in a similar light to fellow fan favourites Reece James and Thiago Silva.

However, Bailey has stated from what he is hearing right now, the 24-year-old will have to accept there is no future for him at Stamford Bridge.
He said: “Unfortunately for I think most Chelsea fans, they haven’t changed their stance. A lot of people do compare the Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher situation, but it’s completely not the same thing. Mount rejected contract offers from Chelsea and was in talks, Gallagher has not had a contract offer.
“He’s desperate to stay, he wants to stay, but it’s my understanding as we are recording this that he has to accept that he has no future. There’s nothing he can do. They’re saying if you have a year left on your deal, we will sell you. But the other side of that, if they don’t offer you a contract, his hands are tied. He can’t do anything. He can’t sign a contract if there isn’t one on the table.
“My understanding is he’s not asking for silly money. We’ve seen the offer Reece James signed, I think he’s asking for similar parity. He’s an England international, why wouldn’t he warrant what they’re on?
“We’ve got a month to go now, because Tottenham will want that deal done in June, before the Euros.”
The irony of the club’s supporters showing off a Gallagher banner in a game against the side he has been tipped to join at the end of this season will not be lost on some of the hardcore members of the fanbase.
It remains to be seen if there is anything he can do to turn around the views of those on the board, and convince them that he can be a key part of the project at Stamford Bridge.
With it being claimed that the club value him at around £50m at this stage, it feels like it’s just a matter of time before a side take a punt on him during the transfer window.
