Martin Odegaard left fans amazed with an incredible piece of skill against Everton.
The Gunners captain is known for his all-round game, and showcased his defensive prowess with a brilliant piece of improvisation last season.
The Norwegian and former teammate Alex Iwobi charged towards a loose ball and both slid onto the deck to get their first.
Odegaard made it though and nicked the ball away with the ball away with a backheel touch.
It was one of a number of highlights from a season where he led Arsenal to an unexpected Premier League title charge and made the armband his own.
But despite all the goals and assists, it was this one piece of skill that went viral on the club’s YouTube channel and left fans drooling.
One Arsenal fan commented: “The guy invented a new tackle, what can’t this man do?”
Another added: “He should be arrested for this! It’s illegal!! Pure Genius.”
One gave it a new name, saying: “That is called Rabona slide tackle and it was nice.”
