Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has given huge praise to his opposite number at Chelsea ahead of the upcoming fixture between the Premier League clubs.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is under some real scrutiny for the job he’s doing at Stamford Bridge, but he should take some comfort from kind words by people actively working in football.

Howe and Pochettino will lock horns in a few days time in the latest installment of this managerial battle.
In fairness, Newcastle’s manager has been very complimentary of his upcoming opponents today, as well as Pochettino as an individual.
Howe said via Newcastle’s X account: “Chelsea have definitely improved throughout the season, they have got better and better, they have top quality players and an outstanding manager. We know it will be a very difficult game against a team that is dangerous, but as always, the focus is on us.”
