Reports have claimed that one player has now decided that his dream move does not see him joining Chelsea.

According to Il Mattino, current Napoli star Victor Osimhen sees his ideal future at another side, despite strong interest from those at Stamford Bridge.

Osimhen has often been mentioned at the top of the list when it comes to players the Blues are considering signing to address the striker position.

Osimhen favours PSG

He has been a player they have held interest in for over a year now, with them regularly sending scouts to watch the Nigeria international in action.

However, his quality will have left them more than aware that they are far from the only top side who are interested in his signature.

PSG have also been credited with interest for the striker, and their summer transfer window is likely to be an extremely busy one in Paris.

This is because star man Kylian Mbappe is now really likely to leave the club at the end of the season, with a blockbuster move to Real Madrid in the works.

They will likely be looking big to replace him, and will be buoyed by the recent reports that he is actually favouring a move there instead of to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea interested in Gyokeres

If this is the case, it would likely be back to the drawing board as far as finding the ideal candidate to come in as a striker at the end of the season.

They have been strongly linked to the signing of Viktor Gyokeres too, with him reaching a combined 50 goals and assists in all competitions for Sporting Lisbon this season.

It has been claimed that they have sent scouts to watch him on multiple occassions this season, and they will likely have been impressed with what they had seen.
