Chelsea are the most likely club in England to make a bid to sign Everton’s Amadou Onana this summer.
That is according to a report from TEAMtalk.
Amadou Onana, 22, is a towering defensive midfielder that stars in the Everton side.
The Belgium international is tailor-made for the Premier League with his overall physicality, so it’s no surprise to us he’s linked with some big clubs.
TEAMtalk claimed yesterday evening that Chelsea have shown ‘firm interest’ in signing Everton’s Onana.
It is understood that Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Tottenham have registered an interest in the 22-year-old star.
The report adds that Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues side are the most likely club from the Premier League to submit a bid for Onana.
In addition, Everton are expected to demand as much as £80 million for their key midfielder.

If and when the Merseyside club sell Onana, Lille will receive 20% of the fee because of a sell on clause.
Chelsea interested in Amadou Onana
Sport reported earlier this month that Barcelona are another rival in the race to sign Onana this summer.
Described as “outstanding” by Darren Bent on X, Onana should stay and develop in English football. However, it’s hard to justify the idea of Chelsea splashing out £80m for him at this moment in time.
There’s been such massive investment into Chelsea’s midfield in recent windows by recruiting Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia. Therefore, we’d like the club to stick with them and splash the cash elsewhere, mainly on a new No 9 prolific striker.
We’ve seen some reckless spending at Chelsea in recent times, so we’d love the recruitment chiefs to be safer and smarter.
