Chelsea will watch one of their key players leave this summer if one Premier League manager gets his way.

The Blues are already losing Thiago Silva after the central defender confirmed that he will be departing Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

In terms of where Silva could end up, he may not actually have to go far.

It has been reported that three clubs from London have already made proposals to the Brazilian.

So who else could follow Silva out of the Stamford Bridge exit door this summer?

Premier League manager interested in Chelsea star

Chelsea take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League tonight. It is a big game for both clubs, who need the three points for Champions League and Europa League qualification respectively.

With the season that they have had, though, Chelsea would probably settle for the Europa Conference League spot, with Mauricio Pochettino‘s men currently sitting ninth in the table.

A lot of eyes will be on Conor Gallagher, as he continues to be linked with a move to Tottenham.

According to the Evening Standard, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is the one driving the club’s interest in the midfielder.

Elsewhere, a report from The Telegraph claims that Chelsea value Gallagher at £50m.

Why is Ange Postecoglou pushing for Conor Gallagher?

Gallagher is a Premier League proven midfielder who has a lot to his game or is at least showing that at this moment in time.

For example, the Englishman is starting to score goals, recently netting against Aston Villa and Manchester United.

He has made 74 tackles in the top flight this season, which leaves him just outside the top 15 players for that area.

It is not hard to see why Postecoglou wants him at Tottenham, then, and with his contract expiring next year, Spurs probably have a good chance of landing the England international in the summer.
