Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has been speaking to the media after his side’s 2-2 draw with Sheffield United earlier.
Noni Madueke would have expected his goal to be enough to beat Chris Wilder’s men.
The 22-year-old had a pretty good game, with former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy feeling that he was the only player who provided the team with a spark at Bramall Lane.
In the end, though, Madueke was not the match-winner for the Blues after Oli McBurnie equalised deep into stoppage time.
It is an extremely disappointing result given all the momentum Mauricio Pochettino‘s side had after their comeback win against Manchester United during the week.

After the United game, Chelsea’s dressing room would have been buzzing.
Unsurprisingly, though, that was far from the case today at Bramall Lane.

Speaking about the mood in the changing room following his side’s latest fixture, Madueke said to BBC Sport: “Silent to be honest. Of course we should have won the game, the fashion we lost it in [is bad]. The way we drop points sometimes, it was in the palm of our hands.
“There is still games to go, we have to stick together and I have faith we can finish in the places we want to finish in. There is some positives for sure, but this is our Achilles heel, the next game after a top result — we haven’t been able to do well in that department so far.
“Eight games left is 24 points up for grabs and we have to get as many as possible.”
Why April can still be a good month for Chelsea
The Chelsea players will be feeling down right now. They blew an extremely good opportunity to close in on the European spots.
The Blues may fail there now, but this month can still be a positive one for them.
It has obviously been a disappointing season for Pochettino’s men, but they still have the chance to win silverware at the end of it.
If Chelsea can beat Manchester City on 20th April, then they will book their ticket for the FA Cup final. That, of course, will be no easy task. But having drawn against the Premier League champions twice this term, there is reason for some optimism.
