Top dog! Bluey breaks ratings records and becomes the biggest show ever on Australian TV

Bluey has smashed the TV ratings to become the top dog of Australian television.

The latest season of the beloved animated series about a charming family of Blue Heelers drew in a staggering 11 million viewers.

These figures combine the total audience who viewed the show across all platforms on the ABC and ABC iview since April.

The total audience figures comes from adding ratings from the five major capital cities, viewers in the regional centres, encore viewing and hours streamed on playback (VPM).

Bluey’s producers posted their appreciation to fans after the show’s record-smashing success.
