Back in 1991, 22-year-old Jennifer was attempting to forge a career as a professional dancer, not having released any music or appeared in a film by this point.

Looking back at their first encounter, Samantha said: ‘I was auditioning women for my video when I broke America with my number one album.

‘And then I had to look for dancers for my tour. And she walked in and I went, “Oh, she’s very nice,” as you do. And I chose her.’

Samantha and Linda tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Essex in July, after announcing their engagement in March 2020.

Samantha also discussed how her upcoming album will be inspired by the love of her life.

She said: ‘Next year, got a great album with Ian Masterson, who’s done lots of songs for Britney and Kylie. I’ve just gone ultra pop this time, written some great records.

‘My music is all about, I would guess, the last five years of my life, what I’ve gone through, meeting my wife and onwards and upwards and positiveness and being who you want to be.
