Helen Skelton took to social media on Tuesday to share that she was having a ‘lovely day’ while enjoying a walk in the countryside.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 39, shared the post just hours after her ex-husband Richie Myler posted one of his own, beaming with his pregnant girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.
The TV presenter announced her split from rugby league player Richie, 32, in April 2022, as it was reported that he had embarked on a relationship with Stephanie, also 32, during the marriage.
Six months later, it emerged that the new couple were expecting their first child together, with Richie cradling his girlfriend’s bump in a beaming black and white snap this week.
Appearing to show that she remains in high spirits in spite of the post from Richie, Helen took to her Stories shortly after to take a scenic picture on her walk – playing the song ‘lovely day’ over it.

While a day later, she lauded the ‘braveness’ of youngest child, daughter Elsie, who she welcomed in December 2021, just months before her husband left the family.
Celebrating International Women’s day, Helen, who is also mum to Ernie, seven, and Louis, five, decided to start with the little one, sharing a picture of her during a trip to soft play.
‘On International Women’s Day it only seems right to acknowledge the one year old (14 months) who is so blinking brave she joins the big kids at circus…. ohhhh little lady can’t wait to see you take on the world.
‘Here’s to the daughters we are blessed with and the big brothers who stand beside them.’
Helen also proved that friendship was key as she went on to shout out all the women in her life, sharing a myriad of snaps with pals and family.

While her ex-husband prepares to welcome another child, it appears Helen could be moving on too – after reports circulated this week that she has been ‘going on casual dates’ with Strictly professional Vito Coppola.
The presenter was partnered with professional dancer Gorka Marquez, 32, on the last series of the show but it is now claimed she and Italian Vito’s friendship has blossomed.

According to reports, the pair have ‘bonded’ as they travelled on the tour bus between cities.
A source told the Mirror: ‘Helen and Vito were good friends during Strictly, but really bonded on tour.
‘There were two buses for the cast – the party bus and the quiet bus.
‘They spent a lot of time chatting on the quiet bus and getting to know each other. They have a lot in common – a love of the outdoors, for example.
‘Between shows they also spent time together one-on-one, like going for coffee, just the two of them.
‘Then, if the whole group went for dinner, they would sit together, deep in conversation.’
The source added that Helen was keen to stay away from Vito if people pulled out their phones as she did not want to be seen in the background near the dancer if a picture or video was taken.
Richie acknowledged his girlfriend’s pregnancy for the first time on social media with the new post this week, simply captioning a love heart emoji.
Back in autumn 2022, a source told The Sun that Stephanie and Richie are ‘thrilled’ to be expecting their first child, just six months after their relationship came to light.
They added: ‘Stephanie and Richie are obviously thrilled. They have moved very quickly but are extremely happy together.
‘The timing of the pregnancy may raise a few eyebrows though. It is obviously such a huge step, and one made remarkably quickly off the back of Helen and Richie’s eight-year marriage ending.
Stephanie is the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, who is one of the richest businessmen in Leeds and is worth an estimated £175million.
His relationship with Stephanie came to light in May, days after it was announced that his eight-year marriage to Helen was over.

Helen was said to feel ‘bewildered’ by the breakdown of her marriage, with a source close to the couple telling MailOnline: ‘Helen is absolutely devastated.’
They continued: ‘Now she is contemplating life without him while he has moved on with his new partner.’
‘Richie is insisting there was no crossover, that he began the romance with Stephanie after their marriage collapsed, but Helen feels let down. They are still married, and their baby is literally months old.
‘She thought their marriage was safe and secure and is totally shocked by what’s happened.’
