Love Island’s Olivia Hawkins reveals HUGE secret she was forced to keep from show narrator Iain Stirling

Love Island star Olivia Hawkins has revealed she was forced to keep a huge secret from the show’ narrator Iain Stirling.

The stunner, 27, who appeared in the winter series earlier this year, admitted this week that she had to keep her casting in the series quiet from the comedian, 35.

Before her career in reality TV, Olivia appeared as Michelle Keegan‘s body double as well as numerous acting jobs and popped up in Iain’s ITV2 comedy Buffering.

She told The Daily Star: ‘That was so funny actually because I remember I was on [the Buffering] set and getting a call from the [Love Island] producers’.

‘[Iain] was sat on the opposite side of the room’.

‘It was a really weird moment because I remember whispering to someone on the phone like “Iain is here with me'” and they were like that’s so weird’.

It comes just weeks after Olivia’s ex-boyfriend Maxwell Samuda revealed the real reason they split up soon after meeting on Love Island.

The pair coupled-up during the 2023 winter’s series but decided to go their separate ways just a few weeks after arriving back in the UK, with some programme fans accusing them of having a show-mance.

But Maxwell, 24, insisted they simply drifted apart once they returned from South Africa, where the show was filmed, insisting ‘other things’ took his attention away.

He told the Murad Merali Podcast: ‘The main thing I would say with the whole situation, when you’re in the villa and even just after the villa but you’re still in South Africa together, it’s a very different environment.

‘All that you have to focus on in that period of time is each other and kind of just being on holiday together and it’s kind of easy to have a great time when you’re on holiday.

‘But once you come back home and there are all these other things going on that then take your attention and take your focus.’

Maxwell added that he wasn’t sure he saw the pair together far in the future, explaining: ‘It really gives you the opportunity to look at it and think is there really longevity in this situation or is it that we’ve connected and really got on but outside in the real world we’re just not too sure if it has that same longevity to it.’

Maxwell and Olivia were the second couple from this year’s winter series to break up just weeks after leaving the villa in March.

The finance student and the influencer were said to have gone their separate ways after ‘naturally drifting apart’.

Casey O’Gorman and Rosie Seabrook became the first couple from the 2023 winter series to split up.

Last week Iain revealed a very surprising fact that fans wouldn’t know about the show in a huge behind-the-scenes secret.

So fans might expect that he jets out to the destination for the job but unexpectedly that isn’t the case.

Taking to his Instagram on Wednesday Iain did a ‘day in the life’ video where he revealed that he actually records his voice over from the spare room of his London home.

After a trip to the gym and brunch with his wife Laura Whitmore he heads up to the mini studio where he has a huge computer and software set up.

He also filmed his pal on Zoom who he writes the show with as well as all of his high-tech equipment.
