Ryan Seacrest made it clear he thinks Andy Cohen snubbed him when they taped their New Year’s Eve specials side-by-side in New York City’s Times Square on Saturday.

The 48-year-old American Idol vet said on the morning show Live! With Kelly And Ryan that Cohen failed to acknowledge him when he was just standing just 10 feet away from him. He then added Anderson Cooper, however, was cordial.

But Ryan’s TV co-host Kelly Ripa – who is close friends with Cohen – interrupted Seacrest and argued that Andy did try to say hello but could not win Ryan’s attention after several attempts.

It all seems to boil down to he said/he said in what has been an ongoing feud between Cohen and Seacrest over the years.

The subject came up when Ryan appeared miffed about the alleged snub from Cohen, the host of Watch What Happens Live on Bravo.

‘It was funny because my big stage was right in front of Anderson and Andy,’ Ryan began. ‘When I was not working, I was trying to get their attention.’

Seacrest then explained they were so close they may have been in each other’s screens.

‘I thought maybe I was in the [CNN camera] shot,’ he added. ‘I just wanted to wave and say hi.’

Next Ryan gave props to Andy’s co-star Cooper.

‘They have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns around and he says, “Have a good show.” Class. Class. Andy did not turn around,’ claimed Seacrest.

Ripa did not seem to think Seacrest’s story held water. She said it did not play out like that.

The morning show queen was not on the scene as she did not have any hosting duties on New Year’s Eve; rather she was at home in NYC with her husband Mark Consuelos.

But she said she spoke to Cohen. ‘That’s not true. He said he was trying to get your attention,’ piped up Ripa.

‘Really?’ Ryan responded. ‘Honestly… we’re within 10 feet of each other doing the show.’

This comes after Ryan and Andy had a fight over alcohol. A week ago Seacrest told Entertainment Weekly it was a ‘good idea’ for CNN to ban alcohol consumption on air.

Last year Cohen, 54, said he had been drinking on air. And he caused quite the controversy as he made reference to the ABC broadcast Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve as he referenced ‘Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing.’

‘I don’t advocate drinking when one is on the air,’ said Ryan in what was thought to be a slam on Andy.

‘I don’t know how that started as a tradition, but it’s probably a good idea [to scale back], CNN.’

Seacrest then went on to reference Andy and co-host Anderson.

The media personality said: ‘There’s some pretty respectable people or at least one, right? I think there’s a serious journalist and then a friend of mine who has a lot of fun, but it’s probably a good idea. Although the viewers probably wish they would drink more.

Ryan said stop the booze: In November CNN had decided to tone it down as Ryan has come out in support of the move as he said: 'I don't advocate drinking when one is on the air. I don't know how that started as a tradition, but it's probably a good idea [to scale back], CNN'

‘But I think they had something to say about my show at one point, which was I’m sure from the alcohol because, I don’t think they would say what they said about our performers if they weren’t drinking. But, you know, I think our show’s a bigger, broader show and we will not drink until 1:05 in the morning.’

Seacrest then proved he had a sense of humor as he joked that he would try to lure his fellow hosts.

He concluded: ‘Although, I might send them some Casa Dragones Tequila just to tempt them while they’re on the air.’

During last year’s broadcast Cohen threw verbal jabs at Seacrest during his live broadcast as theirs were happening simultaneously.

‘If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing,’ Cohen told CNN viewers while co-hosting with anchor Cooper.

‘I’m sorry but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing,’ Cohen rudely added.

Cohen later expressed regret and admitted that he was ‘overserved’ as he claimed he was ‘stupid and drunk and feeling it.’

He later said on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live: ‘The only thing that I regret saying, the only thing is that I slammed the ABC broadcast and I really like Ryan Seacrest and he’s a great guy.’

It showed Real Housewives creator Cohen trying to be funny about replacing the comedian on the CNN broadcast, in which he pretended not to know her.

The cut turned into a scar that keeps hurting the Emmy winner who wrote on Instagram Saturday, ‘Ugh. Every year someone sends me this clip around New Year’s Eve.’

Referring to the Watch What’s Happening Live host, she continued, ‘This guy was my boss for years. Decided whether or not I worked at Bravo. Can you imagine seeing your ex boss on TMZ like…this? Ouch!’

She referred to the rival show Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Seacrest posting and guests including Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus writing, ‘Anyway, I can’t wait to watch Miley and Dolly tonight.’
