Terri Irwin wants her son Robert, 18, to ‘keep things PG’ with his first girlfriend Rorie Buckey: ‘She wants to make sure they’re ready’
Robert Irwin officially debuted his first girlfriend, Heath Ledger’s niece Rorie Buckey, last month.
But his mother Terri has reportedly urged her 18-year-old son to ‘take things slow’.
According to New Idea, Terri, 58, is keeping a close eye on the pair and is ensuring they keep things PG.

‘Terri is really happy for Robert, and she likes Rorie, but she’s urging him to take it slow for both their sakes,’ a source told the publication.
‘Terri knows all too well what it’s like to be in a relationship in the public eye. She wants to make sure they’re ready.’
Earlier this month, Terri was photographed sitting between Robert and Rorie as they celebrated his birthday at Australia Zoo.
‘You could tell Terri was making sure there was no canoodling under her roof,’ the insider added.

It comes after Robert and Rorie were spotted spending time together in Queensland last month.
The two were seen smiling while on a sunset stroll, picking up takeaway from Grill´d and eating it on a beach with Robert reportedly spotted pulling Rorie in for a hug as the sun went down.
Rorie is the niece of the late Heath Ledger and she has an identical twin sister named Scarlett.

Robert and Rorie have plenty in common – both grew up in the public eye after suffering the devastating loss of a family member.
Heath was at the top of his Hollywood career when he was found dead in January 2008 following an accidental prescription drug overdose.
Like Rorie, Robert is all too familiar with loss.
His father Steve, known to the world as the ‘Crocodile Hunter’, died aged 44, on September 4, 2006, after being pierced in the chest by a stingray.
