The Bachelor’s Alex Nation in ‘anxious spiral’ as toddler son comes down with hand, foot and mouth disease leaving her three-month-old baby girl at risk
Alex Nation has shared her anxiety after her toddler son Max, who will turn two next month, came down with hand, foot and mouth disease.
In a post to Instagram Stories on Tuesday night, the former Bachelor star said she too was getting sick as a result.
‘Now I am on the decline,’ she said in the video, in which she sounded croaky and appeared tired.
‘I woke up feeling just a bit off, and now I feel horrendous. When does it end? Daycare is seriously a killer,’ she added.
Alex then shared her fears for her baby daughter, Pearl, who is just three months old.

‘What do I do if Pearl gets HFM? We have done everything to keep Pearl away from Max but I think she has a slight temp,’ she wrote.
‘Urghhh sicknesses seriously send me into an anxious spiral I hate it so much’.
Alex and her fiancé Carson Jory welcomed their newborn daughter Pearl to the world in April.
She shared the happy news with all her Instagram followers, posting a black and white photo of herself and Carson sharing a sweet moment with the bub.
‘Pearl. 20•04•23 ~ 8.41am. Her entrance was pure magic and we are all just so in love,’ she captioned the heartwarming picture.

The reality television star, who is already mother to sons Elijah, 11, and Maxwell, said she doesn’t want to go through the experience of carrying a child again.
In addition to the physical and mental toll, Alex told 9Honey her difficult pregnancy affected her relationship with her children and partner Carson.
‘Sadly, this is going to be my last pregnancy. I haven’t enjoyed it. In the first few weeks when it was really bad, I kept thinking, “I’m meant to be enjoying this. This is my last pregnancy. Why is this happening? Is there something wrong?”‘ she said.
‘I was convinced there was [something wrong], so I was constantly going to my doctor, but everything was fine. It’s just my body was reacting in a different way this time to the pregnancy.’
The mother of two then advised other mums to reach out and ‘ask for help’ when they need it, because they can’t always be ‘superhuman’.
