Tori Spelling‘s motel stay ‘has nothing to do with’ the status of her marriage to Dean McDermott.
The 50-year-old actress – who was spotted at an LA inn with her five kids – is dodging a mold issue at their home, a source claims.
Despite a now-deleted separation announcement from McDermott, 56, a source told Us Weekly that ‘Tori and Dean are doing really good and her staying at a hotel with their kids has nothing to do with a separation.’
The insider added, ‘They decided to stay there because of the ongoing mold problem at their house.’
‘Tori is taking this issue very seriously and isn’t going to subject herself or her kids to that,’ the person emphasized.

Weeks ago, in a now-deleted post, McDermott took to Instagram to announce that he and his wife of 18 years were going their separate ways.
The two are parents to five children: Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 6.
McDermott is also father to son Jack, 24, whom he shares with ex Mary Jo Eustace.
Alongside a throwback photograph of the pair together and snap with four of their children, Dean shared a heartfelt statement.
‘It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own,’ he shared.
‘We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness,’ the note finished.
Tori – who is the daughter of late film producer Aaron Spelling – has yet to address the split publicly.
After the actor shared the statement, a source told Us Weekly that the two were not getting divorced.

‘They’ve had their ups and downs like any couple, but have continued working on their marriage through couple’s counseling,’ the person dished.
‘They love each other and are not going to split,’ the insider added. ‘Friends suspect that Dean posted that because he and Tori may have gotten into a big blowout fight last night. He obviously regretted it, so he deleted the post.’
Last month someone close to the couple told DailyMail.com that Dean feels he’s done everything in his power to make his wife happy, but believes his efforts have not been reciprocated.
‘Dean has changed and worked very hard to be the husband she needed him to be but she is still demanding and entitled.
‘Nothing he does or has done will ever be good enough for her,’ the insider told DailyMail.com last month.
‘For a very long time Tori used their marital problems to stay relevant,’ the source said.
‘Everyone knew about their issues, and she didn’t play it down, she played it – even going so far to go outside where she knew paparazzi were waiting. This really took a toll on Dean,’ the friend shared.
The insider also claimed that the couple had been struggling with financial issues and the daunting duty of raising their children, stating: ‘Tori did not feel like Dean was holding his weight at the time.
‘She kept wanting more and more, and from Tori’s perspective, she always just felt like Dean wasn’t carrying his half. She feels like she had to raise all their children on her own and, for the most part, she is right.’

The outlet caught the star as she left Hermes in Beverly Hills on Friday, accompanied by Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star Josh Flagg.
The mother-of-two admitted she doesn’t know what the fate of Tori and Dean’s marriage will be.
Asked if the couple is done for good, Candy answered, ‘I don’t know,’ before adding, ‘I love my daughter, and I support her in whatever she does. I support my daughter, what can I tell you?’
