Reports are stating that there is a lot of pressure on Mauricio Pochettino as the manager of Chelsea right now.
It has been claimed that some members of the hierarchy have already begun to do due diligence on some potential replacements for the Argentine at Stamford Bridge.
One of the main candidates they have reportedly been chasing is Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon, off the back of an extremely successful spell there so far.
A number of other names have been linked to the role, with some of those coming from the Premier League.
One name who is quite an obvious link to the potential vacancy is Roberto De Zerbi, after they recently made a lot of acquisitions from Brighton.
However, HITC Insider Graeme Bailey has told The Chelsea Chronicle that from what he is hearing, that move is unlikely to be pulled off at this stage.
De Zerbi not in the reckoning
He said: “I don’t think De Zerbi’s in the reckoning for Chelsea, I think his relations with other people who he’s worked with previously make it highly unlikely. I don’t think De Zerbi would come into the reckoning at Chelsea as far as I’m told.”

A number of big clubs are reportedly going to be interested in bringing in a new manager at the end of this season.
Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are all clubs who will definitely need new people in charge ahead of the next campaign, and all three of those are likely to be able to offer Champions League football next season.
It remains to be seen if this is going to be a restriction for the Blues when looking to bring in their ideal target, and could see them turn to left-field shouts.
It has been reported in the last 24 hours or so that there are some at the club who have mentioned current Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe as a potential candidate for the role.
