Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer put in another excellent performance in his side’s 3-2 win against Newcastle United yesterday.
Cole Palmer scored and recorded an assist to help Chelsea claim all three points at Stamford Bridge.
As per Squawka, the 21-year-old has now scored and assisted in five different Premier League matches this season, something no other player has done.
In total, Palmer has scored 11 goals and registered eight assists in the top flight.
Chelsea are currently 11th in the table, which is not great, but without the former Manchester City man, it is scary to imagine where they would be. Alan Shearer took to X after the Blues’ win against his old side to praise him.

Right now, Palmer looks like the complete attacker. Not only is the Englishman managing to score goals, but he is also creating them.

If the rest of Chelsea’s attack was as clinical and decisive as him, the club would not be in the bottom half of the table.
It is a young Chelsea forward line, though, with Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke both under the age of 23, for example.
Palmer is a young man himself, turning 22 in May, but he has received his football education from Pep Guardiola, arguably the greatest manager of all time. Compared to Jackson, Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk, the England international is definitely the more polished footballer.
Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic recently admitted that he is surprised by how well his team-mate has done this season.
Having barely played for City, Palmer has probably stunned most people with his performances. For Chelsea supporters, it has been a good surprise, and there have not been too many of those at Stamford Bridge lately.
Mauricio Pochettino will now be looking to Palmer to fire Chelsea into the FA Cup semi-finals when they take on Leicester City on Sunday.
