Fulham are bracing themselves for the departure of manager Marco Silva, talkSPORT understands.
Silva is weighing up a £40million offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli.
The Portuguese is into the final year of his contract, which has a £6m release clause, and has been stalling on signing a new deal.
Cottagers striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has also been offered a lucrative contract in the Gulf State, with Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal.
But Fulham are determined to keep hold of the player and in response Mitrovic has reportedly vowed to never play for the club again.
Silva took charge of Fulham in the summer of 2021 following their relegation from the Premier League in the 2020/21 season.
Fulham earned promotion back to the top flight at the first time of asking, winning the Championship title.
Many fans of the west London club would’ve feared they were destined for another campaign finishing in the Premier League’s bottom three but Silva’s men were one of the surprise packages of the season as they recorded a tenth-placed finish.
But it’s been a difficult summer for Fulham with their only transfer activity seeing them re-sign Brazilian winger Willian, who appeared set for a move to Nottingham Forest. They now run the risk of losing their manager and star striker.
Silva first came to England in January 2017, taking the Hull manager’s job until the end of the 2016/17 season.
Although he was unable to guide them away from Premier League safety Silva impressed in the role and was appointed Watford boss in the summer of 2017.
The 46-year-old then joined Everton in May 2018 but lost his job in December 2019 before returning to the game with Fulham a year and a half later.
