Some players who left Chelsea last summer will be absolutely delighted that they did.

Chelsea are really struggling right now, while some who departed are thriving at their new clubs and helping them to do well.

The Blues are ninth in the Premier League at present and may not even qualify for the Europa League.

Arsenal and AC Milan, where the likes of Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic have moved to, are having good seasons, on the other hand.

Arsenal are actually top of the Premier League table and have a great chance of reaching the Champions League semi-finals after drawing 2-2 with Bayern Munich in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, while Milan are second in Serie A.

Former Chelsea player’s unbelievable stat this season

Chelsea’s loss is really starting to look like other clubs’ gain.

Havertz and Pulisic have really excelled this term, with the former scoring nine league goals and the latter managing 10.

The former still does not look like a prolific Premier League forward yet, but former Arsenal winger Perry Groves has been really impressed with his pressing and one stat that he has recorded since leaving Chelsea.

Speaking about Havertz on talkSPORT before the Gunners’ game against Bayern yesterday, Groves said: “There was a stat which people won’t realise. His closing down is unbelievable because when I looked at his stat, he had 374 high-intensity presses. When we press, he’s the one who sets it off.

“Now you wouldn’t associate that with Kai Havertz would you because he’s more of a floater, sort of drift in sort of player, so he’s bought into that, ‘Right, you set the press off, then [Martin] Odegaard goes, then if Declan Rice is backing you up.’ So I just think it’s the environment he’s in and he’s scoring goals now as well.”

Chelsea interested in Kai Havertz’s Germany team-mate Jamal Musiala

Chelsea have moved on from the 24-year-old and now appear to have another Germany international on their radar, Jamal Musiala.

It has been claimed that while Musiala is not a priority for the Blues, they still have an interest in the Bayern star.

Musiala, of course, played for Chelsea’s academy and could be a really good signing if they manage to bring him back to the club.

He has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 23 Bundesliga appearances this season.
