A German broadcaster has hit out at Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy over Harry Kane’s projected move to Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga giants have spent much of the summer chasing the England skipper but have yet to find a breakthrough with the north London club.

Bayern saw their latest offer of £85million plus add-ons rebuffed by Spurs on Monday, leaving the six-time European Cup winners frustrated.

And now it appears the frustration has transcended to the television studios after Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg ranted on Levy and his reluctance to part with Kane.

Whilst on air, an animated Plettenberg had a message for the Tottenham supremo in hope that a deal can be done before the start of the Bundesliga season on August 18.

“Daniel Levy, if you see this, finally accept the offer, so that the transfer gets done! It’s not progressing and it’s getting annoying. It even annoys me,” an infuriated Plettenberg said.

It remains to be seen whether Bayern can convince Levy to part with his prized asset before Bayern kick off their title defence at Werder Bremen next week.

Alternatively, Bayern may use the time remaining in the transfer window to look elsewhere for a new striker.

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Bavaria but is believed to be nothing more than a plan B behind Kane.

Meanwhile, Spurs are said to be relaxed about Kane’s future despite Bayern’s insistence to quickly wrap up the deal.

It is understood the 30-year-old will stay at the club for the final 12 months of his existing deal if an agreement can not be found with Bayern before Sunday’s opening Premier League fixture at Brentford.

And in this situation it’s likely Spurs will try and tempt Kane to stay for longer with a bumber new contract offer, which could be accepted if the striker sees progress under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
