Karim Benzema announced his arrival at Al Ittihad with a stunning goal and an assist.
Benzema joined from Real Madrid in June and fans of the Saudi club had to wait to get their first glimpse of him in action.
It was worth the wait, however, with his game-changing contribution as he helped them beat ES Tunis in the Arab Club Champions Cup.
Al Ittihad were trailing when Ousemma Bouguerra lashed in a volley in the 26th minute.
Benzema had a hand in getting Nuno Espirito Santo’s side back on level terms when his cross was turned in by Abderrazak Hamdallah just six minutes later.
The France striker then showed exactly why he is the reigning Ballon d’Or holder with a stunning, outside the box goal.
The 35-year-old fired home a powerful effort to make it 2-1 to Al Ittihad.
There was also a debut for N’Golo Kante, who came off the bench after his free transfer from Chelsea.
Former Celtic man Jota was also named in the starting line-up alongside Benzema.
The former Real Madrid man left for Saudi Arabia after 14 years with Los Blancos in Spain.
He scored 354 times in 648 matches in a glittering career with one of the giants of European football.
And former teammates loved seeing him continue where he left off.
Responding to a post on Instagram, Marcelo, Vinicius Jr and Aurélien Tchouaméni all posting comments.
Benzema chose to follow former Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia.
The striker will earn a reported £200million-a-year at Al Ittihad.
