Despite all the negatives that have come with this season at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have a chance to book another trip to Wembley if they win on Sunday.

The Blues are preparing to face Championship league leaders Leicester City, with a chance at the semi-finals there if they pick up the win.

Mauricio Pochettino will no doubt still be eager to win his first trophy in English football this season, especially after the manner in which they were defeated by Liverpool in the League Cup earlier this season.

Now though, it may come down to needing to win a trophy to actually keep his job at Chelsea any longer than this season.

It has been claimed that there is potential that he could be sacked after what has so far been an underwhelming season, and qualifying fo European football could be the only way to save his role.

The best route to this could now be through the FA Cup, and this puts a lot if importance on Sunday and the side Pochettino puts out there.

He will likely still be looking to rotate where he can, given the fact that his squad has been suffering with fatigue in recent weeks.

There is one player who was on the bench on Monday against Newcastle who should now get a chance to start if he is fit enough to do so.

Chukwuemeka has to start against Leicester

Carney Chukwuemeka came off the bench last time out, after his recent set back saw his total time missed for injury rack up even further.

His last start came all the way back in August, where he also scored his first goal for the club at the time too.

An appearance will likely give one of their more important players the chance for a rest. The manager has already admitted the likes of Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo are in desperate need of rotation.
