Reports have given a worrying glimpse into where Chelsea would be in the Premier League table this season if results were taken from just the second half of games.
According to the Mail Online, the Blues would find themselves in the bottom three right now based on the results they have achieved counting just the second 45 minutes of games.
Chelsea have been notorious this season for playing far better in the first half of games than in the second, and this has come to their downfall a number of times.
This was notably seen just a few days ago when they made the short trip across West London to take on Brentford.
After Nicolas Jackson gave them the lead with a header in the first half, they found themselves behind not long into the second.
It took a late Axel Disasi header to rescue a point, however if the game was decided off just the last 45 minutes, they would have suffered another defeat.

This has been the story of the season, with them only above Burnley and Sheffield United when it comes to performances then.

This is a drastic contrast to where they would rank in a table of purely first half displays, where they currently sit eighth, above both Brighton and Manchester United.
Some may be of the opinion that this comes as a result of the substitutions and tactical changes made by the manager, Mauricio Pochettino, when trying to adapt to a mid-game situation.
The boss did not make the most of his available options against Brentford, with only Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk being brought on.
This saw the likes of Noni Madueke and Cesare Casadei forced to watch from the side, powerless to make an impact in a game that was crying out for one.
