Djordje Petrovic has given one Chelsea player some huge praise for his impact this season at Stamford Bridge.
There’s three games remaining in Chelsea’s campaign to try get over the line for a European finish, but the club celebrated its End of Season Awards last night at Stamford Bridge.
It was a great individual evening for Blues star Cole Palmer, who won both the Men’s Players’ Player of the Season and Player of the Season, voted for by teammates and fans, respectively.
Djordje Petrovic hails Chelsea star
Blues goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, 24, has applauded one club teammate for his brilliance in this 2023/24 season.
He’s waxed lyrical about Chelsea talisman Cole Palmer.
Petrovic said via Chelsea’s Instagram account: “It’s clear he’s the best player this year. Goals, assists.”
Also, Blues keeper Robert Sanchez added: “He’s been amazing every single game.”

It’s quite impressive that Palmer’s scored against 12 different Premier League clubs already this season.
He’s got a chance to add to that because he’s not scored against any of Chelsea’s three final opponents either (Nottingham Forest, Brighton and Bournemouth).

Speaking via The Evening Standard last month, Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka described Palmer as a “world-class player” for his impact on the pitch. We’re very much inclined to agree when you look at the amount of times the attacking playmaker has produced for his side over the course of a long campaign.
