Chelsea owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are probably not the most popular figures at Stamford Bridge right now.
Since taking over Chelsea, the club have been on a steep decline. They are currently 11th in the Premier League table and finished in 12th last season.
So how do Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali win over supporters? Well, as often is the case, with shiny new signings.
The Blues have recently been linked with Bayern Munich attacker Jamal Musiala, and he is the kind of marquee addition who could unite fans and the club’s owners again.
It has been claimed that Chelsea will make a strong push for their former player in the summer if he does not sign a new contract at the Allianz Arena.
Chelsea should try to sign Jamal Musiala in the summer
Musiala is easily one of the best young players in the world right now.
This season, the 21-year-old has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 21 league appearances.

As for the previous Bundesliga campaign, he came up with 22 goal contributions in 33 outings. It shows that Musiala is quite a productive attacking midfielder despite still being so young.
What is really impressive about the German, though, is his dribbling. According to WhoScored, he is currently completing an impressive 3.8 dribbles per game. It is the highest average in the Bundesliga.
There is no doubt, then, that Musiala would be an exciting addition to Mauricio Pochettino‘s squad this summer. And given his connection to Chelsea, the Stamford Bridge faithful would surely love to have him back.
If Boehly, Eghbali, plus Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley, who are spearheading the football side of things at the club, want to convince supporters, then a signing like Musiala could do the trick for them.
Without Champions League football, however, it may be difficult to persuade the Germany international to return to west London.
