Barcelona made a sensational swoop for Paris Saint-German star Kylian Mbappe by offering three players in exchange, according to reports.
Mbappe is expected to leave the Parc des Princes this summer, with less than 12 months remaining on his contract.
The 24-year-old recently turned down a move to Al Hilal, who had offered £259million for the forward.
Mbappe is reportedly holding out for Real Madrid, despite interest from Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea.
According to Foot Mercato, Barcelona offered three players in exchange for the France international, which was rebuffed by PSG.
The report states Ousmane Dembele, winger Raphinha and midfielder Gavi were the players in question.
PSG, though, are not interested in the latter two, with a move for Mbappe to Barcelona now out of the question.
The Ligue 1 champions are adamant Mbappe will not leave for free, and had even offered him a monstrous deal in the hope he would stay.
According to Defensa Central, carried by SPORT, a huge ten-year, €1bn deal was on the table for him to extend his current contract.
Dembele, meanwhile, is expected to join PSG anyway, with the club having agreed personal terms with the star.
A lucrative contract has also been offered to the 26-year-old, who is expected to return to his homeland.
The Parisian giants are also negotiating with Barca over his secret £43m release clause, as they look to seal a deal in the near future.
