Chelsea youngster Omari Hutchinson has just been named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for February.
Omari Hutchinson, who’s aged just 20, is currently enjoying a season-long loan at Ipswich Town.
The left-footed winger is now up to six goals and five assists so far in Ipswich colours, but he’s really come into his own during the last few weeks.
He scored or assisted in five of Ipswich’s six league matches last month, so it’s not a big surprise that he’s been awarded an individual prize.
Confirmed via the EFL website, Hutchinson is the February Player of the Month in the Championship.
Hutchinson’s celebrated his award with a post on Instagram.
It seems like the great work he’s getting through out on loan isn’t being overlooked by those at Chelsea.

Blues midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, along with club legend John Terry, replied in the comment section.
Speaking via Substack last month, journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that Hutchinson has already attracted the interest of some clubs in Germany.
In our view, Chelsea certainly shouldn’t entertain any idea of selling Hutchinson. Instead, it would be great for him to join up with the main Blues squad in pre-season and see if he’s ready to make a first-team breakthrough next season. If not, another loan deal is the obvious path.
